What kind of water are you drinking? Are you getting pure, refreshing water from your tap? Did you know that tests done in 42 states in the US from 1998-2003 found 119 chemicals for which the Environmental Protection Agency has set health-based limits, plus an additional 141 unregulated ones? But it is not only what has been added to water that makes it unpalatable and undesirable. It is also what has been taken away of its life-giving properties by exposure to environmental toxins, chemical treatments, high-pressure pipes, electro magnetic pollution, and more, which particularly degrade water quality. There are many issues regarding water quality. It is a daunting task to understand and identify them, let alone sort through them all and apply what you have learned to the many products on the market for what you hope will be a comprehensive solution.

The easy answer for many has been to haul bottled water from the store, much like our ancestors who went to the well or river in the days before indoor plumbing. Most who "fetch" their water do not realize they are paying hundreds to thousands of times more that what they need to, for something that is most often not as good as what they can have right in their homes. In contrast to city water, there is little regulation to ensure what it is that you are getting in bottled water, which can be of quite dubious quality. On top of that, there is the issue of what sitting around in plastic bottles does to water quality.
