Harvest Haven Health - HERALD ISSUE 13

When Harvest Haven first began over 12 years ago, we were busy from Day One. Every year, we hoped the pace would slow. To this day it has not changed. We would get infrastructure, systems and knowledge in place and think, “We won’t have to do that again, and it will also make other things easier.” Which in most cases was true, but then there was always something else. We are as busy as ever, still changing and expanding.

We have been finding ourselves gradually taking a direction not originally envisioned or expected. As Canadian Tire is “more than tires” today, so Harvest Haven has been for some time “more than a seasonal market farm.” We are now identifying ourselves as “Harvest Haven Health,” addressing and providing several basics of life.

Recently we have been so fortunate and blessed to have yet other winner products to help others and ourselves, these being the SCENAR and Laser technology, and the G5 Silica in liquid and gel. Many are experiencing wonderful results. We have also begun carrying certified organic Avena products. Because of these developments, we are planning a large and special building project to serve the increasing needs, all this God willing.

THE HEALING FUSION

We have been working on providing the fundamentals for becoming healthy and staying healthy since the farm began in 1995. In addition to organic food, we have made available high quality, effective water filtration systems and Grander Living Water. We added the HTE line of products (Chi Machine, HotHouse, Electro Reflex Energizer) as well as air ionizers, Magnetico mattresses to heal while you sleep, and toxin-free body care and household care products. We have also carefully selected a variety of whole-food based nutritional aids like Sunrider that do not disrupt the natural balances in your body, like certain supplements can. And Vita-Lite full spectrum lighting for healthful indoor lights. However, even with all of these good things, there were still some health problems with which our customers or we struggled. We found more help when introduced to SCENAR technology, which led us to Dr. Irina Kossovskaia, former elite eye surgeon and researcher from Russia who introduced SCENAR technology to North America, and who has brought the latest, most effective and user friendly generation of such devices into the market, starting with the DOVE (featured in our last newsletter).

Harvest Haven Health would now like to introduce you to two other technologies that, combined with the DOVE, create a synergistic effect known as “The Healing Fusion.” These are th e Q-Series Soft Lasers and the Solaris Health Blankets, which have begun to yield remarkable results following a transformational health semi nar sponsored by Dr. Irina’s company this fall, which four of us attended. How do these three technologies work together?

As written about in our last issue, SCENAR technology is a highly sophisticated biofeedback stimulation developed in conjunction with the Russian cosmonaut space program, which talks to your body in the same language that your cells talk to each other. It removes energetic barriers in the body that prevent the body from completing the healing process. It also re-organizes and directs the energy of the body (DOVE = Device for Organizing Vital Energy), much like an air-traffic controller, sending the body’s healing energy to necessary areas. However, what happens if there is not enough energy to accomplish healing? That is where the soft laser technology (light) comes in.

Soft lasers provide the body with energy that is ready for it to use; this allows the body to accomplish healing when it would not normally be able to do so. This technology has been around for decades, but the Q-Series Soft Laser is considered the most advanced in the world due to the development and use of soliton laser wave energy delivery (the same kind of wave reinforcement used in fiber optics and by whales to communicate at great distances underwater), which drastically boosts effectiveness, yet is entirely gentle and safe.

The Q-Series Soft Laser is a multi-frequency laser (most soft lasers on the market emit only one wavelength of energy – the Q-Series Soft Laser emits 9 different wavelengths of beneficial, healing light). It is like owning a toolbox rather than a single tool. The body needs different frequency wavelengths in different situations, for different conditions. The Q-Series Soft Lasers can provide dramatic healing for burns, wounds and scar tissue, and is even effective with old scars, internal as well as external. It is FDA approved for carpal tunnel syndrome and myofascial pain. Practitioners have had dramatic results with autistic children, nerve and spinal injury recovery and other problems that are normally considered untreatable. It is all about energy at the cellular level. This is why the third component, the Solaris Health Blanket, is so beneficial.

The Solaris Health Blanket is made from one of the layers of fabric used in cosmonaut space suits. It had been observed that cosmonauts experienced excellent recovery after exercises, much faster than normal, as well as superior health under stressful circumstances. The reason, it was discovered, was that the fabric in the space suits acts, in essence, as an energy mirror, reflecting back to the body its own energy and redistributing it from areas of excess to areas of need. At the same time it provides a protective cocoon-like environment that creates an immediate and very powerful relaxation response, which helps to improve overall health. The relaxation and redistribution of energy allows the body to heal, uninterrupted by surrounding EMF (electro-magnetic field) interference. These attributes are what make the Solaris Health Blanket so helpful after treatment with the two other components of “The Healing Fusion.”

The fabric in the blanket is composed of several different metals, most notably palladium, which have beneficial effects because of their vibrational resonance. Turkey Enchiladas with Sour Cream

3 cups shredded cooked turkey
2 cups sour cream
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1 tsp salt
6 Tres Marias 10” flour burritos or 9 - 8” spelt tortillas
2-3 cups salsa, mild, medium, or hot

Combine turkey with the sour cream, cheese, and salt.
Fill burritos with mixture, roll up, and arrange them side by side with seam side down in a large shallow baking dish.

Pour salsa over top and bake at 350° F until heated through, about 20-30 minutes.

Love Thy Neighbor

Would you like to do something really daring, something courageous, revolutionary, perhaps somewhat difficult, but guaranteed very possible and most certainly rewarding, something that would spice up your life like few things ever could?

Some recent events have come up and possibilities have presented themselves that I decided to share, not in specifics but in principle, with all our readers. Just think about this: What would happen if you were to suddenly, voluntarily make amends with the persons and institutions you know you have wronged, whether just yesterday or decades ago? What if you were to voluntarily apologize or make generous restitution?

I recall the year Jesus Christ took over my life. It was 1973. I could hardly wait to travel back to my hometown and go to the market gardener (Bilous), confessing I had once raided his cabbage patch; and to the Dauphin Drive-In Theatre to confess I had pocketed some of the ticket earnings as the cashier at the gate, and to make restitution. Not only did it make me feel good, it made them feel good. When I offered to repay what I had stolen, they adamantly declined to take anything from me. “We’re just glad you did this! Thank you! We really appreciate it!” they exclaimed with uplifted spirits and the kind of smiles they had not used in a long, long time.

When I wrote an apology to Jerry Jellison, the personnel manager at the Bay Retail in Winnipeg, confessing pilferage of some office articles, and enclosing a check to more than compensate, he replied by letter, expressing surprise, gratitude and delight. I felt good and they felt good. My guilt was lifted and they were encouraged. I think someone remarked, “It goes to show we still have hope in this hard world,” or, “Just when we thought the world was about to end!”

The reactions I got to my confessions were the opposite of what some might expect. Yet, in advance, I was assured within that everything would be okay when I did the right thing, and that is how it turned out. Those I had wronged were genuinely thankful. I certainly did not expect to make their day. I only knew I needed to make things right.

We have all done things in the past that, if made known, we might expect some kind of penalty, maybe lose friends, gain (or expose) enemies, suffer contempt, hatred and ridicule, pay fines or even serve time, in some cases big time. Many of us have hurt others, some not a lot and some terribly so, some secretly, some openly, some intentionally, others unwittingly. But this I know and have found out for myself: when once a person earnestly sets out to make amends, to make things right with anyone wronged, the power of Heaven is there to see you through to a happy, peaceful and prosperous conclusion.

It feels good to right wrongs. I tell you, it is better than almost anything pleasurable one can experience on earth. Imagine heavy chains breaking and falling off your wrists, ankles and neck, or a heavy, long-held burden on your back removed. Truly, it can be that much of a relief. It is better than dining on the finest of foods, winning the Lottery, smoking pot, getting drunk, sexual gratification, reaching Everest’s summit, getting fame and fortune, or a rousing applause from an audience. It is something internal that goes deep and lasts long, something that nobody can ever give to you or take from you. As a song goes, “I’ve got something that the world can’t give, and the world can’t take it away.”

Maybe you stole something, or vandalized someone’s property, or cheated him or her out of something. Perhaps you owe someone a debt you have never bothered to pay back. Whatever it is, I know it is well worth making it right. Never mind the consequences; God will take care of everything if your heart is set on doing right. Heaven will rise for you and back you all the way. There will be certain, more than worthwhile rewards – a clear conscience, relief of the wronged, and favor among those that count, if nothing else. Ask yourself: “How would I feel if someone came and made amends with me?”

Imagine if everyone started to make things right with all those they had offended or harmed. What a wonderful place this world would begin to be! But never mind what others do; just you do what is right. With your example lighting the way, seeds will be sown and somewhere, somehow, someday you will reap the reward. It could be contagious, hopefully so. In any case, it is a sure investment, with a high stakes reward. Can you beat that?

One more thing: One of the things we owe others that we often fail to pay is forgiveness. Oh, if people would only forgive one another! That alone would do wonders. Letting go of bitterness is like flushing a toilet within; it really is. Go to those concerned and ask if they would forgive you for your wrongs, and offer to make amends. Tell your neighbor you forgive him or her (as long as you mean it) if that is what they need from and ask of you. Forgiveness is a life-giving element. It may well be the answer to your arthritis, heart troubles, rashes, depression or cancer. Feel a new day dawn on you, with renewed hope, the energy you suddenly have, and rest with the good sleep you soon come to enjoy.

Well, it begins with you and me. We’re first. Let’s do it, even if we are the last or only ones. I have to admit, though, that until Jesus Christ took over my life, I really did not have the heart to make things right. I didn’t really care, even if my conscience bothered me. I can’t presume to promise you something without His supernatural help, but I can ask Him to give you that. So can you. Why would He not give you what is necessary to do what pleases Him and is right, so that you and others might prosper? But I think I can promise this: Take one step in His direction and He’ll take a mile in yours. Tell me about it.

WE BOUGHT THE FARM

“I See the Lights!”

When you buy a farm, it does not necessarily come with yard lights on a road as when one buys a home in town. Then, when winter comes, early nightfalls make entrances and driveways dark, even foreboding. So, Lois and Mark went shopping for lights to hang on our caragana hedge along the driveway to greet and cheer our visitors. They found stringed Christmas lights to be best suited - more efficient and less expensive.

After selecting a cart full of boxed lights, they pulled up to a “Canadian Tired” and bored cashier and had their purchase processed. Handing them their receipt, the cashier bid them a rather mechanical, “Merry Christmas.” (One could swear there was a sigh between the two words and a yawn following.)

Mark looked right at her and gave his usual spirited reply with smile and lively expression, “We don’t celebrate Christmas.” Suddenly, without warning, the “event du jour” was dawning on this poor woman’s humdrum world. There was color back in her face, light in her eye, and air in her mouth. She looked at the loaded cart of lights, then at Mark, and back at the lights. She then cast a glance Lois’ way, as if to say, “Yeah, right! Is he kidding me? Am I supposed to be some dumb ‘Crappy Tire’ cashier or what?”

She didn’t argue or even question. But as one of our everyday in-the-trench foot soldiers of society, she accomplished three things that day - the store’s policy, an appearance of composure, and keeping her dull job. She also gained a tad of mysterious controversy to take home, share and chew on with her family that evening.
