Harvest Haven Herald Issue #12 brought this response from
someone on our mailing list, as a post
on her blog. This is not the first time
someone has told us they appreciate the “eggs,” but
the “Chicken” has to go.
Nicole withdrew
the posting immediately after receiving Victor's reply, but you
can still see her comments at the above link, or here.
Victor’s reply:
I am the owner of Harvest Haven and I now address Nicole Baker’s
comments on her web site, as well as the comments made by Deb,
the “Christian,” and “Bigmo,” the Muslim.
However, I do not write as owner of Harvest Haven but as a bona
fide servant and spokesperson of the Lord Jesus Christ, Lord of
lords, King of kings, very Creator God. In other words, I now address
you all in His Almighty Name.
You, Nicole, friends and family have come to us receiving the
benefits of our products, saying it is the only major operation
in these parts (Southern Alberta) that offers what we offer. I
want you to know that if it were not for the fact that Jesus Christ
has taken our lives and made them His, and if it was not for the
fact that He gave us everything that we have to share with others,
you would not have these products available to you.
We have had to pay a price to receive the benefits we now bestow
on you. We have paid for them with our lives, losing independence,
families, friends, wealth, business associations, vocations, goodwill,
reputations, and more.
And it has been all more than worth the cost. We have been delivered
of lies, error, ignorance, darkness, and false gods (things we
have wittingly or otherwise worshipped, thus shortchanging ourselves
of wholesome life). He has delivered us from the crippling bondage
of sin (the breaking of His commandments) into a glorious freedom
people can’t imagine or even dream about. We have (according
to Jesus’ promise, which He faithfully kept) true life, understanding,
substance, wholesome acquaintances, health (physical, mental and
spiritual), prosperity, direction, purpose, peace and joy; we have
Him.
We have sure knowledge of Truth. We know Him Who is Truth. As
He said, “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life; no man can
come unto the Father but by Me.” (The Muslim does not believe
this, notwithstanding his deceptive flatteries – “Islam
is peace, Jesus is peace.”)
In making us His, Jesus Christ has revealed the Truth about life
to us. He has made known good and evil, right and wrong, truth
and error in all aspects of life.
With this knowledge comes responsibility. We are His and not our
own. He has the right to do with us as He sees fit, and, for that,
we are immensely thankful. Is there a greater honor in existence
than to be identified with Him, the Light of the world, in a world
steeped in horrid wickedness and darkness? I know of none. Jesus
said:
“Be content--pleased, even--when you, My students, My harvest
hands, get the same treatment I get. If they call Me, the Master,
'Dungface,' what can the workers expect? Don't be intimidated.
Eventually everything is going to be out in the open, and everyone
will know how things really are. So don't hesitate to go public
now. Don't be bluffed into silence by the threats of bullies. There's
nothing they can do to your soul, your core being. Save your fear
for God, Who holds your entire life--body and soul--in His hands” (Matthew
10:25-28 MSG).
Jesus said, “What I tell you in darkness, speak in the light;
and what you hear, proclaim on the housetops” (Matthew 10:27
MKJV).
We are not here to sell wholesome food for the body above food
for the soul. Jesus said:
“It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone,
but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God’” (Matthew
4:4 MKJV).
What He has told us, you call “shit.” You, Nicole,
call us freaks and idiotic morons. Deb, the “Christian” who “does
not believe in condemning what others believe” tacitly approves
by saying nothing, and condemns us by saying, “I’d
never darken their door again.” And we are the ones spreading
intolerance and hatred? Therefore, neither of you will live, even
as He said. Indeed, you have darkened our door, haven’t you?
But we obey Him and therefore we live, and we speak because we
live, and we live because we speak, though you despise us for it.
You are in all contradiction, knowing nothing. You see yourself
as opinionated. Little did you know that your opinion would be
found to come directly against God. We solemnly inform you that
you have opened your mouth against Him.
Deb calls herself a Christian, but her definition of a Christian
is as far from God’s definition as dog dung is from wholesome,
organic, dark-red, sweet, juicy, flavorful strawberries. She needs
to know that.
She says she doesn’t believe in condemning what others believe,
but here is what God commanded His servants to do concerning what
others believe, if not according to His Law and will:
“Do everything that I command today. Then I will force the
Amorites, Canaanites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites
out of your way. Be careful not to make a treaty with those who
live in the land where you're going. This will prove to be a trap
to you. But tear down their altars, crush their sacred stones,
and cut down their poles dedicated to the goddess Asherah. (Never
worship any other god, because the LORD is a God Who does not tolerate
rivals. In fact, He is known for not tolerating rivals.)” (Exodus
34:11-14 GW)
Is Deb wiser than God? Is Deb a real Christian? Certainly not
according to the Bible and not according to Christ, the One after
Whom she calls herself. To her do these, His words, apply:
“On the day of judgment many will call Me their Lord. They
will say, ‘We preached in Your Name, and in Your Name we
forced out demons and worked many miracles.’ But I will tell
them, ‘I will have nothing to do with you! Get out of My
sight, you evil people!’” (Matthew 7:22-23 CEV)
As for “Bigmo”; he mechanically recites the Koran,
not knowing what he does. He reads a book (the Koran) that calls
the Bible a pack of lies and Jesus Christ a liar, claiming the
Bible is untrustworthy. His authority is the Koran; according to
him and all Muslims, we should believe the Koran and not the Bible.
We know differently, having proven the Truth of the Scriptures
for ourselves, and we are not afraid to say so, notwithstanding
the vicious threats against those who do. Little does he know that
he comes against the Creator and fights a losing battle.
Loudly but humbly, in Truth, we say we are Christians,

Paul’s reply to one of the blog commentators:
Hi Debbie,
Regarding your comment on Nicole’s blog, you may think
you are a moral person, but that does not make you a Christian.
Far from it. You really have no idea what a Christian is, because
being a real Christian means you will, by your very nature, do
what you say you would never do, and that is condemn the darkness
and lies that others believe. You are mistaken, however, that
you, even in your unbelief, would never do that. Everyone in
the world lives according to varying amounts of Light from God
that compels them to either accept or condemn the beliefs of
others. The Bible, something with which you are apparently unfamiliar
in content and spirit, though it is the Record of the One you
profess to believe, says this:
“For when the Gentiles, which have not the Law, do by nature
the things contained in the Law, these, having not the Law, are
a Law unto themselves: Which show the work of the Law written in
their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their
thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another” (Romans
2:14-15 KJV).
But you say, in ignorance, pride, and darkness:
“I don’t believe in condemning what others believe.”
What do you think you have just done with those who are being
examined on this blog? Are you not condemning what we believe?
So you can see how believing the lie that you do not judge others
compels you to lie about what you are doing.
You have no idea of the fearful price that you, along with so
many others, have paid and are paying for conducting yourself as
you do, believing lies, and at the same time professing the Name
of the Lord. He is the Truth, the Antithesis of lies. You cannot
believe in Him and co-exist with lies. He is the Light, and Light
dispels darkness. If you were in Christ you could not speak lies
in darkness, wherein you contradict yourself and are even proud
of it, resisting the Truth. That means your profession of Christ
is a vain one, totally empty and without the good effect it would
have if you truly believed and were committed to Him.
It brings shame to His Name to misrepresent Him. It is worse than
being an ordinary heathen sinner. The non-professing heathen has
no pretension and is not nearly as responsible as you are, one
who should know better according to the One in Whom you claim to
believe.
The Scripture I quoted above establishes that it is not at all
necessarily wrong for anyone to condemn what others believe. Common
sense establishes this as well. If you are Catholic and your parish
priest believes his pedophilia is excusable before God and man,
will you then leave your sons alone with him on overnight trips,
as many have, and say, “I don’t believe in condemning
what others believe”?
Of course you would not. You rightfully condemn many things people
believe (evidenced by what they do) all the time. When the things
people do lead to unjust harm, injury, degradation and destruction,
we cannot with a good conscience approve of those things when we
know better. We certainly cannot do them ourselves, and we cannot
stand with and support others in their insistence on doing them
as though they are right and justified. That is why, for one of
many examples, we farm organically and also support others that
do. That is also why there are laws, criminal courts, armies, and
many things that have been needful in order for people to lead
quiet, productive lives in this world.
Jesus Christ says that one is a hypocrite for condemning others
when she does the same thing as those she condemns. Furthermore,
you condemn and characterize what we are doing as hateful and ignorant.
Can you prove these allegations? Are we the haters, or do we condemn
those who hate? (Read The Answer to Islam.)
In the matter of spreading ignorance and hate, Islam is a virtual
non-stop hate and ignorance propagation machine, based on lies
and blasphemy against God, the Lord Jesus Christ. We, in the Name
of the Lord, condemn this in no uncertain terms. There really is
no choice in the matter. The question is: Why don’t you?
Where have you been? Are you wearing a hijab that covers not only
your face, but your eyes and ears?
The Koran calls Jesus Christ a liar. You, however, show yourself
to be more righteous than, and morally superior to, God by condemning,
not the lie, but those who expose it. You are, as with so many,
a self-styled “non-judgmental and loving Christian,” preferring
to show your love and non-judgmentalism to the sinners in the world,
with whom you are one, rather than to God, to Whom you are hostile:
“Unfaithful people! Don't you know that to be the world's
friend means to be God's enemy? If you want to be the world's friend,
you make yourself God's enemy” (James 4:4 GNB).
What makes you think that defending Islam as a legitimate representative
of God, which is what it claims to be (and the only one), is not
being judgmental? Do you know what it is that you are approving,
and what it mandates for you, as one professing Christ? You should.
You are judging something that is unlawful and dangerous as lawful
and benign. If your little boy was approached by a rattlesnake
would you judge the snake to be a good and safe companion for your
son? I don’t think so. You would judge otherwise.
You are judging in favor of Islam, which opposes you, and you
are judging against God, Who is for you. How are you judging against
Him? He, the Lord Jesus Christ, declares Himself to be the Son
of God, and was shown to be so by the resurrection from the dead,
which is our only hope of salvation. This, Islam blatantly denies
and refutes. Furthermore, Islam uses the supposed superior revelation
of Muhammad over Christ as a platform to subjugate, pillage, rape
and murder in the name of Allah, a demonic imposter. And you do
not condemn this? That makes you confederate with murderers and
rapists.
Is Islam peace? Jesus said, “Judge not by the claims but
by the results.”
But we condemn no person, not you, not your fellow bloggers, and
not any Muslim. We speak the Truth that condemns (judges) the lies
that you and these others believe, and we condemn the things each
of you does as a result of believing lies, which lead you to destroy
yourselves and each other. Choosing lies over Truth, you must,
of necessity, be judged by God, Who says there will be an end to
the destruction and darkness, by the Word of His Truth spoken to
you:
“
And if anyone hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge
him; for I did not come that I might judge the world, but that
I might save the world. He that rejects Me, and does not receive
My words, has that which judges him--the word which I spoke,
that word will judge him in the last day” (John 12:47-48
EMTV).
You also judge God inasmuch as you condemn our speaking by Him,
saying you would have nothing to do with us. This is according
to Jesus Christ, the One Whose Name you proudly, though falsely,
use to label yourself:
“The one hearing you hears Me, and she who despises you
despises Me; she who rejects you also rejects Him Who sent Me” (Luke
10:16 MKJV).
First of all, you have no right to judge me--you aren't God. Remember
what the Bible says about first removing the plank from your own
eye before you tell your neighbor to remove the splinter from his
own?
I'll leave it at that--because the God I believe in teaches love
and tolerance for all human kind-- and that's what I'll continue
to do. I'll admit I'm not perfect, none of us are except Jesus.
But I won't apologize for my words on Nicole's blog. Instead I'll
pray for peace in the world, and that once again people will learn
to love and respect each other.
This will seem extremely rude--but I don't know how you got my
email address, but I ask that you not contact me again.
Paul's reply:
Debbie,
If you do not wish to hear from us, then it would be advisable
that you and your friends start with the bare minimum of not making
irresponsible, unjustified, public or private remarks and judgments
about people. We assure you (we know whereof we speak and do not
speak in vain), God is finished winking at your careless, wicked,
and hypocritical behavior. He has had it with you.
You say, “You have no right to judge
me—you aren’t
God.” What hypocrisy! This is coming from the one who judges
us, refuses to provide any evidence to back up her accusations,
and then closes the door behind her as she flees in adamant refusal
to take responsibility for her words. Are you not judging us? What
kind of god are you serving by your ways?
But we know that the Lord God does not judge people as you do.
He does not falsely accuse. He provides evidence and just cause
for what He says and does. He identifies the plank in one’s
eye. You are obviously not with the true God, and He is not with
you in slandering your neighbor, contrary to His Nature and Law:
“You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor” (Exodus
20:16 HNV).
If you were to judge in the manner that God does, you would have
answered the following questions that I asked you in my last letter:
“Furthermore, you condemn and characterize
what we are doing as hateful and ignorant. Can you prove these
allegations? Are we
the haters, or do we condemn those who hate?”
If you were with God, and walked as He does, not only could you
have answered these questions, you would have been eager to do
so. You would have been zealous to search out, to proclaim, and
to vindicate the Truth. You would have wanted to help us by correcting
us where we are wrong instead of ignoring legitimate questions
that seek to establish validity. God always gives the truth to
those who ask for His correction. That is the love of God. You
talk much about love, but have none of His.
There is, however, another spirit who loves humanity, yet he is
known by God to be a liar and murderer, as the deceiver of the
whole earth, as the one who appears as an angel of light, speaking
of “love and respect” because he has set his affection
on the things of men, and not on the things of God. He is also
known as the accuser of the brethren of Christ.
That spirit is Satan.
Satan is your god, the one you talk about, serve, and manifest.
He is the one that judges after the appearance to preserve people
in their pride, not calling them to repentance and public confession
of sin, but allowing them to seek and retain the honor and favor
of others instead of speaking the truth. Jesus Christ, the One
you falsely claim to follow, spoke the following words to you and
to all those who follow Satan, the prince of this world:
“You like to receive praise from one another, but you do
not try to win praise from the One Who alone is God; how, then,
can you believe Me?” (John 5:44 GNB).
How did Satan become the prince of this world, except he is the
god of “love and tolerance for all human kind,” to
which you so proudly proclaim your allegiance and service? Satan,
the god of this world, tolerates all people, the key point being
he tolerates them in their sins to keep them there, as they give
their allegiance to him rather than to God, the Lord Jesus Christ,
Who is the Way, Truth, and Life Who leads men to repentance and
reformation.
What does the call of God to repentance mean except that you are
not acceptable, respectable, or tolerable to Him in the state that
you are?
As Satan’s loyal subject, the only “love and respect” you
are interested in is that which is demonstrated towards you by
those accepting you in your sins. In this you have chosen to be
his willing slave. That is why you accuse us and refuse to justify
your accusations. That is why you run away when called into account.
You only love those who love you, who accept you in your sins,
and do not tolerate those in the Truth, Who exposes the cover of
darkness under which you hide. Under that cover are all kinds of
unclean things, including Islam, which you can tolerate as an unholy
bedfellow, and will defend, rather than embrace the Truth and forsake
your ways of darkness.
That is why you say, “I’ll admit I’m not perfect,
none of us are except Jesus,” as if His perfection is an
excuse for your sinfulness and remaining in darkness. His perfection
in the flesh condemns, not justifies, you in your sins. If He did
not come and make the way for you to be forgiven, cleansed of your
sins, and delivered out of the sin nature altogether, fulfilling
His commandment to be perfect before God, then you would have excuse.
But now you have none:
“Therefore be perfect, even as your Father in Heaven is
perfect” (Matthew 5:48 MKJV).
You make things worse by confessing His Name while you cling to
your sins. While your false humility and platitudes may be pleasing
to some that do not see or know better, it is all a massive insult
to God, as if you are trying to cover over the smell of your vomit
and excrement with a cheap, imitation perfume. You are calling
Him a liar to justify yourself. It does not get much more low-down
and despicable than that. You are the liar, and you will not be
spared, and are not spared as you try to cling to the horns of
the altar, as if your religious profession will save you.
“But the fearful, and the unbelieving, and the abominable,
and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters,
and all liars, will have their part in the Lake burning with fire
and brimstone, which is the second death” (Revelation 21:8
MKJV).
