Why Low Level Laser?
The basis of all health and healing in our bodies is having adequate free electrons (energy) available to our cells. A blockage or lack of this fundamental electrical energy prevents healing, and is the root of much disease. Sources of this energy are known as electron donors. Perhaps the fastest and most effective electron donor that has been discovered is the soft laser.
Soft laser technology has benefited many conditions normally considered hard, or even impossible, to treat by conventional medicine. Considered by many in the field to be the future of alternative medicine, this technology is highly advanced, yet the concept is simple: soft laser delivers readily utilized energy to cells compromised by illness or injury.
Due to a very low energy density and an unfocused beam, the soft laser is completely safe. Do not confuse the soft laser with its cousin, the high energy laser which is used for cutting and burning. In fact, it is the low energy output that makes soft laser therapy so effective. When energy density is too high, cells polarize in order to protect themselves, in effect shutting the door to energy. The healing process can only be initiated if the photonic (light) energy is absorbed by the cell.
Not all low level lasers are equal in terms of depth of penetration, and number of frequencies and wavelengths. Some low level lasers are computerized, which makes them more effective and their results more consistent and reliable than others.
Here are some of the features of the low level laser we use and recommend:
• deep and widespread penetration without cellular polarization, due to an amazing innovation in the low level laser technology
• an absolutely consistent frequency and power density output, improving the results and reliability of the laser
• multiple frequencies in the same unit
• light and portable
Benefits
Understandably, low level lasers have a wide range of applications. There are very few conditions that have not responded to the treatment. Here is a partial list of benefits that have been experienced with use of soft lasers:
1. Promotes the healing response so that recovery time is reduced or healing is stimulated in compromised areas (certain healing enzymes are boosted by as much as 75%)
2. Stimulates the immune system to fight infection (the white blood cells can be increased 400%-900%)
3. Reduces inflammation and swelling through the stimulation of lymphatic drainage and the reduction of inflammatory enzymes – sometimes by as much as 75%
4. Stimulates bone repair and growth
5. Improves tissue oxygenation
6. Regenerates skin and nerve cells
7. Enhances energy in the cellular membranes, allowing the transport of nutrients and greater metabolic exchange and stimulates ATP production, the body’s energy currency
8. Reduces pain and stiffness, bringing increased functionality and quality of life
9. Relaxes muscles
10. Stimulates blood flow/circulation; this promotes warming of chronically cold hands and feet, speeds and enhances the healing process, reduces water retention, and helps the workings of internal organs
