Norwegian Fish Medicine Works Miracles on Humans
You May Never Be Sick Again

TROMSØ -- It has given hope where there was no hope. People with almost every known health problem seem to benefit from it. Even the most sceptical have been forced to take a second look. However sixteen years ago, no one, not even its inventor, Dr. Jan Raa, a highly respected marine microbiologist, imagined that his amazing fish medicine would eventually help so many sick humans.

At that time, Dr. Raa wasn't thinking of sick humans he was thinking of sick salmon. In Norway, farmed salmon is an enormous industry, second only to oil, pumping billions into the economy. However, one of the problems with farmed salmon is they are extremely vulnerable to deadly infections, especially when they are young.

Prior to Dr. Raa's breakthrough discovery, if farmed salmon became infected they were treated with antibiotics. But antibiotics only achieved limited success because infecting microbes can quickly develop resistant strains.

Healing Dust?

The first clue came from Marit, a technician in the Biotec AS research lab. She was responsible for preparing dry samples of beta glucan for various immune related studies. During her work she naturally came in contact with the powder and dust that comes from the drying process.
