Found in salt shakers and in foods all around North America,
there is an imposter going by the name of “salt,” refined
beyond recognition, silently killing those who consume it. On
the other hand there is the natural and authentic article, which
is life-giving and satisfying. Yes, we had also been victims
of that highly processed white death called “salt,” until
introduced to RealSalt in 1996, and later to Celtic Sea Salt,
which we now also use and sell under the label of Nature’s
Cargo of Canada. Both are unprocessed, unrefined whole salts.
What a difference! Using these genuine salts makes your food
taste better, and you feel better, too. There are many reasons
why. With RealSalt and Nature’s Cargo Sea Salts you get
what amounts to a perfectly formed and balanced mineral supplement,
made to order for your body’s nutritional needs, while
enjoying the improvement of flavour of your meals and having
the peace of mind that comes with knowing you are doing yourself
good. How can you beat that?!

food, and why we categorize it as a Health
Aid.
Some Interesting Facts about Salt
The word “salt” has received a bad rap, and the
ordinary processed table salt deserves every bit of it and more.
It is nutritionless poison, nothing less. It is my conviction
that good, wholesome, unprocessed salt normalizes body systems.
I believe that if we were all to consume but moderate quantities
of proper salt, we would soon do away with many of our ailments
and diseases. Let us consider some facts about good and bad salt:
Did you know that whole salt is the most complex mineral element
of the planet? Did you know that salt is found in 85% of the
earth? Does that tell you something? To me, it means that salt
was provided in abundance, because it is so vital to our lives.
The Bible says, quoting the Lord Jesus Christ, that “salt
is good.” Yet, many “experts” and “professionals” would
have us believe that the less salt we consume, the better. Not
so. I believe God. Of course, if the experts are referring to
ordinary table salt, they are right. However, Jesus was not referring
to the cheap counterfeit. He was referring to the real thing,
and so are we.
Does salt indeed increase blood pressure? Ordinary table salt
does. However, the British Medical Journal has reported that
whole, properly harvested sea salt normalizes blood pressure.
It reduces high blood pressure and increases low blood pressure.
Isn’t that wonderful? That beats taking medication, does
it not?
Don’t be fooled by the term “sea salt.” Salt
coming from the sea means no more than flour coming from the
farm. There is processed flour that is poison, and organic flour
that is wholesome and nutritious. Both come from the farm. The
questions are: “Where in the sea does it come from? How
is it extracted? Is it refined?”
Ordinary table salt has no nutrients whatsoever, and the iodine
added is synthetic. Good sea salt has upwards of 92 minerals,
24 of them known to be trace minerals essential for life, in
proper proportion and balance. Natural iodine is one of them.
While the synthetic iodine of poison table salt lasts no longer
than 20 minutes in one’s body, the natural iodine of good
salt will be there 48 hours, with traces evident weeks later.
Natural salt provides the vital connection with the forces and
elements of nature.

Note: While RealSalt is mined on land, and
may not have the same quality as newly harvested sea salt such
as Nature’s
Cargo, it is nevertheless very good, and is by far preferable
to what is commonly used.
