Harvest Haven Meats, which include beef, veal, lamb, chicken, and turkey, are a cut above the rest. Our customers say they are the best they have ever eaten.

What makes Harvest Haven meats superior? A number of important factors give them their special quality and flavor.

All the livestock is grass-fed, even the chickens and turkeys. The cattle and sheep are on lush, green pasture during the summer; in winter they are fed hay which has been baled at its prime. Although the chickens and turkeys are not on pasture, they get freshly picked greens daily.

Harvest Haven poultry has plenty of fresh air, sunshine, and room to roam. Turkeys and chickens are not so different from humans. We do not thrive when deprived of sunshine, fresh air, good food, and exercise.  Never mind sitting in our own feces, crowded shoulder to shoulder in a high humidity room, eating rendered animal guts! We focus on keeping our livestock in optimal health, prevention always being the best strategy. Harvest Haven livestock is given organic feed, supplemented with kelp and highly mineralized, unprocessed salt to supply even rare trace minerals in balance.  And we have seen the results; healthy, vibrant, problem-free animals.

Grander Living Water is also a very important and unique factor in Harvest Haven animal husbandry. The reaction of livestock to this water has been dramatic. The neighbor’s cattle knock over fences to gain access to our Grander water, though they have water from the same source (not Granderized) on their side of the fence (more about Grander Living Water Technology).

The result is that our animals are raised without antibiotics, vaccinations or hormones.  Some of our customers who were diagnosed as “allergic” to meat, are able to enjoy Harvest Haven meat with no reactions, discovering that they were allergic not to meat, but rather to antibiotics, hormones, or other contaminants of factory farm products.

We take personal care in the processing of all our meats. Someone from Harvest Haven supervises each step to be sure the animals are treated right and that the end product is processed and packaged for our customers’ satisfaction.

Individual cuts of beef and lamb, as well as whole chickens, turkeys and parts are always available in our freezers. Fresh meats and special cuts can be ordered.

Unique to Harvest Haven is the diverse selection of tasty sausages: fresh and smoked beef, lamb and turkey. We have beef and turkey cold cuts, too. All the prepared meats are free of MSG, nitrates, nitrites, or fillers - nothing but our wholesome meat and the skills of a local sausage maker.
