Greetings to all at Harvest Haven…..I just had to thank you for the incredibly delicious produce (we haven’t tried the meat yet as we were away). The strawberries were unbelievable and the potatoes and carrots and eggs the best I’ve ever tasted. This is not idle flattery as I consider myself a ‘pro’ in these matters. I lived in BC’s Fraser Valley for 12 years on our hobby farm and my own big organic garden with home ‘grown’ eggs and beef, fruit and veggies. They were outstanding but yours are better. The last 11 years we lived on Vancouver Island with a large Organic Market farm a few miles down the road….they produced beautiful crops too…gourmet mixed greens were really great but over all I consider it a great gift to have found you…of course the fact that you are Christians is probably the most powerful factor in the sweet fruit of your labour but I’m sure the Grander water helps too. I now have a little pen but I’m afraid the larger treatments are beyond my budget. I am hoping to be able to purchase more from you in the future… Also do you have any turkeys for Thanksgiving? Wishing you all God’s richest rewards…..your new fan…Renee Fietz CarrotsTo Everyone at Harvest Haven, Just a short note to say that the juicing carrots I purchased from you in January were by far the best carrots I have ever used in my kitchen. You are the 4th organic supplier I have tried and clearly will be an impossible act to follow. When I juiced the carrots, the pulp remained a brilliant orange, and when I fed the pulp through the juicer a couple of times until it became slightly warm, I ended up with just a tiny handful of pulp from carrots which generated over 16 ounces of juice! The carrots are so flavourful that even as "juicing carrots" they still steam up perfectly and are very tasty in a stir-fry. Guests that have been at my table to enjoy them have also commented on their superior texture and flavour. I enjoy all the produce along with the chickens and eggs that I have purchased from Harvest Haven, so the carrots should not have been such a special "surprise;" however, they were of such exceptional quality that I wanted to send a note of special thanks for yet another excellent taste experience. Kindest regards, Others“For lunch I prepared a wonderful salad with a light dressing of apple cider vinegar, fresh honey, and olive oil (all organic of course) with some dried cranberries tossed in. Very tasty indeed. On a hot day like this it was the perfect lunch. I’m feeling much more resistant to the heat of the day. So in the end what I’m trying to say is thank you for working so hard in growing, harvesting, preparing and offering these wonderful things to me. We use the milk we purchase at Harvest Haven to make baby formula
for my little girl. She is not gassy on it, which is nice. It
